The main aim of the present dissertation was to examine the effects of two group pethods on adolescents' career development and mental health. The results suggest that the long-term effects of career counseling among adolescents are relatively small but siggnificant and some of these effects appear only among subgroups. Consequently, a more cost-effective approach than targeting at whole age group would be the targeting career interventions carefully at those who benefit most.
